Primal Pit Paste All Natural Deoderant (Review and Giveaway)
We're all looking for greener options nowadays to replace the things we use on a daily basis. Check out this awesome, all natural deoderant, review by Mendy over at My Journey to Living Well.
A few weeks ago I saw a story on my local news about a new product which was developed by a woman who was concerned about the lack of all natural deodorants that actually work. She had been looking for a deodorant for one of her children and found that most of the "shelf" deodorants all contained toxic chemicals that she didn't want on her child. There were all-natural options of course, but none that she felt did the job. Her solution? Develop her own! And so began Primal Pit Paste. You can read the story yourself HERE.
A few days later I received my jar of Primal Pit Paste in the mail. It came in a small 2 oz glass jar. First point scored for Primal Pit Paste! I already have plans for that little jar when its empty. I was a little concerned that it was rather small though. I figured it couldn't last long, being so small. Turns out those misgivings were unfounded. All it takes is a small amount rubbed under your arms and you are good to go!
I had opted for the Orange Creamsicle scent because it just sounded so good. I was right too, it smells yummy. The other scents available are Lavender, Patchouli, Thyme and Lemongrass, Unscented (for sensitive skin) and Lemonade (another one for kids).
I decided that I was going to forgo my usual deodorant for one week and go exclusively with Primal Pit Paste. I have to admit, I have never tried an all natural deodorant before, so I was a little nervous. "Just in case" I put my regular deodorant in my bag when I left the house. Turns out it was completely unnecessary! The stuff really works! Not only does it keep you from being smelly, but with the all-natural ORGANIC ingredients its actually GOOD for you. WHAT!? This deodorant is beneficial to your health! Yup.
There was one negative however, the process of scooping it out with your hands and putting it on. When done right after a shower, no problem. But, if you're in the middle of getting ready to rush out the door last minute (as I usually am) its not so convenient. Luckily, for just those moments, Primal Pit Paste has an alternate Primal Paste Stick coming soon! How can you go wrong?

Chobani Greek Yogurt (Review and Giveaway)
We are some yogurt eatin' fools in my house! We (and by we, I mean me and Micah, but mostly me) go through at least a dozen cups of yogurt in a week. We like yogurt so much, I even learned how to make it myself... which was a pain in the butt and totally messy. Totally not worth the effort, especially when it doesn't even taste that good. I'll stick with my Chobani!
Yogurt is a great, nutritionally complete food. With most cups averaging 160 calories, 16 gm protein and between 0 and 2 grams of fat, you really can't go wrong eating Chobani Greek Yogurt... Even if you wanna eat two, because you can't decide which delicious flavor you wanna eat... I'm totally guilty of this one!
I love the versatility of Cho greek yogurt. You can dress it up by adding granola or you can use Cho plain in recipes that call for sour cream and it will cut way down on the fat content of the dish. You can put a popsicle stick through the foil of an unopened cup, stick it in the freezer for a couple of hours... Viola... Frozen yogurt!!! You can also layer Chobani vanilla yogurt in a tall glass along with strawberries and fresh whipped cream for an awesome parfait dessert. Or you can just grab a spoon and stir the yummy fruit up and eat it!
Chobani Greek Yogurt comes in tons of great flavors. My favorites are strawberry banana, peach, blueberry, mango, vanilla, blood orange, black cherry... ok, they're all my favorites. I have yet to eat a Cho yogurt i didn't like. It comes in several sizes too, 16 oz and 32 oz, 6 pack or individual. Chobani is by far one of the best tasting Greek yogurt brands out there, but you don't have to take my word for it, the great folks over at Chobani Greek yogurt have been nice enough to give a case to one of you lucky readers.

Goat Milk Stuff (Review and Giveaway)

Goat Milk Stuff llc. is a family-run farm on a 3 acre homestead in rural Indiana where Pj (Mom) and her family, including her husband and 8 kids, oversee their herd of beautiful Alpine goats and make lots of soap and other awesome goodies.
The thing that struck me first, as I was reading up on the Jonas family, is how all of the children have a job on the farm. Be it milking, processing milk, processing or filling orders and even making the soap. I love this idea!!! i also love that PJ homeschools her kids. It feels good supporting such a company as this.
Goat Milk Stuff has a broad array of products. From the soap, which comes in tons of wonderful scents (or unscented) to lip balm , laundry soap , lotion , shaving stuff , soy candles and gift sets plus lots more great products.
I received a variety of products, but my favorite was the luv spell soap. (Similar to the V.S. perfume scent) It smells so spot on, it's great! The bar came packaged in a cute little canvas bag which is individually hand stamped and packaged by one of the kids. This soap is not only good for your skin, it's also beautiful to look at and looks great just sitting in a decorative soap dish on the counter.
I also received a luv spell scented soy candle in a tin. I've burned it quite a few times and it barely even looks used. The scent is strong enough to notice in the room, without being overwhelming.
