With Christmas right around the corner, our thoughts turn to making a list and checking it twice. Trying to find the perfect gift for that special somebody can often be difficult. This year, I'm trying to give some really nice, handmade gifts.... and since I'm a total loser when it comes to hand making stuff, I've left it up to the pros.
One of my favorite new finds is the D'lish Soap Factory. D'lish Soap Factory is the brainchild of Tara and George. Tara has been making soaps for about 5 years and her recent line of yummy soap cakes and cupcakes for about a year.
While hanging out at her family's bakery one afternoon, she noticed the icing her Mom was using to frost cupcakes had the same consistency as her soap "batter" and a lightbulb went off. She confiscated some pastry bags and went home and began the task of perfecting her soap cakes and cupcakes. To her amazement, it actually worked! She practiced until she got it just right, and boy did she! These soaps look and smell good enough to eat!!!
The soaps are made in the cold process of soap making. They contain all natural ingredients including coconut oil, palm oil, grapeseed oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, lanolin oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter, olive oil, corn oil and many other quality ingredients. These soaps take only an hour to make, but take 3 to 4 weeks to cure.
There are soooo many wonderfully yummy soaps to choose from, there's no way you could ever settle on one. With Holiday scents such as,
Elf Sweat Gourmet Soap Slice
This magical Christmas fragrance is a
bubbly blend of candy, candy canes, candy corn, syrup with
effervescence spicy soda pop bubbles to provide a unique happy top note!
(I personally loooove this one, it smells like bubblegum and soda)
This fragrance is simply amazing!
Beginning with top notes of lemon, orange and bergamot; middle notes of
ginger, nutmeg, honey and clove; and well-balanced base notes of vanilla
bean and cocoa. This soap cake slice is decorated with confetti
sprinkles and a dot candy and is packaged with ribbon and tag for gift
giving.

Yes, Micah wanted a bite, til I told him it was soap. I definitely think a kid might try to eat it, it looks and smells so delish!
These are too cute!! And I know my kids, even though they are teenagers, would be the first ones to attempt to eat them!
